A 'reasonable excuse' to gather includes the need to access supervised activities for children; and to participate in exercise with no more than 30 people.
Llangynwyd Community Association is now working with the group leaders for the following groups to reintroduce activities in September -
Parent & Toddler
Tang Soo Do Karate
The other Village Hall groups cannot resume at this time. We will review this as and when the Welsh Government restrictions change.
The committee have decided that due to social distancing restrictions the Schoolroom Coffee Shop will not reopen for the foreseeable future. We are sorry for any inconvenience and disappointment.

Village Hall Closure:
On Monday 23 March the UK Government introduced additional controls to delay the spread and impact of the novel coronavirus Covid19. One such measure was the closure of many non-essential premises as part of social distancing measures.
Non-essential premises required to close to the public include non-residential premises such as community centres. Unfortunately this means that in the current climate Llangynwyd Village Hall is now closed as a public venue.
We will re-open when the UK & Welsh Governments announce that is is safe to do so.
Schoolroom Coffee Shop:
In order to protect the health of our volunteers and their families the trustees have taken the decision to close the coffee shop until further notice.
The coffee shop will re-open when the trustees and volunteers are happy that it is safe to do so.
In light of UK & Welsh Government guidance relating to the coronavirus pandemic the following groups & events have been cancelled:
Wednesday Club (Bingo Club)
WI Craft Club
Llantastic (Singing Group)
Supper Club (March)
Llangynwyd Film Club
Llangynwyd Tang Soo Do Karate
Pilates and monthly Mindfulness sessions
Llangynwyd Middle Community Council
Parent & Toddler
Material Girls (Sewing Group)
Village Hall Hire:
The hall will be unavailable for hire until the end of July. Provisional bookings for events from 1 August are subject to cancellation.
The trustees have decided that the lucky draw will continue to operate but house to house collections are suspended until further notice.
The playing rules will be temporarily modified to allow draw numbers for players who pay monthly or annually by collection to continue.
Numbers for regular players will be entered into the draw. Winners will have the annual fee (£12) deducted from the prize fund.
Players who pay by standing order are unaffected by this rule change.
The WINGS Cymru basket of donated pads has temporarily been removed from the large washroom toilet and relocated in the Village shop.
